Founders:

  • Timothy Ross, Legal Representative, has an MSc in Drugs and Alcohol from London University, a GradCertHealth from Flinders University, a Certificate in Psychotherapy from Regents College, is a Licensed Nurse and worked 1991-2007 in street outreach, health care and counseling with another Foundation and 2003-2007 as a casualty nurse, last year completed a PGCert in Dual Diagnosis from Middlesex University.
  • Beatriz Vejarano, Secretary, has degrees from NYU in Literature, from Lausanne in Politics, and an MSc in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from George Mason in Washington DC. Beatriz has worked for international bodies in community development and technical assistance in Bolivia, Ecuador and Peru, in Colombia for Unicef, the Foreign Ministry and a human rights organization, and has taught at El Rosario University.

Consultant members:

  • Deyanire Sosa, psychologist and psychotherapist with long experience in working with abused children and abusive families supervises counseling training and practice and provides therapeutic support for members and visiting girls
  • Ana Maria Rodriguez and Ana Maria Diaz, lawyers, specialists in human rights and family law, provide training and advice on members’ legal rights
